Our guest speaker will be Steve Truax, who is a professional diamond cutter working here in Minneapolis. Steve will be speaking on rough diamonds, cutting techniques, valuation, flaws and much more. Please join us for this special event!

In addition, each November the club holds its annual “Find of the Year Contest.” Please bring the wonderful agates, minerals, fossils and artifacts that you found this year. Also bring jewlry projects, lapidary works and art projects using stone that you may have made this year. Please note that you MUST be a member in good standing BEFORE the meeting day of November 8th in order to be eligible to enter the contest. Refer to your Rock Rustlers News for the contest rules.
