In May, the club took two trips--up to Mora to hunt agates, and the Memorial Day weekend trip out to Glendive, Monana for petrified woods, fossils and Montana Moss. In June the club ventured out to South Dakota and then up to the Cuyuna Range. In July, the club went international with a trip up to Canada then Agate Days up in Moose Lake. In August the Club will be heading back to the Lilydale Brickyards to collect fossils then over the Labor Day weekend to the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. The last presently scheduled trip will be to Royalton, Minnesota.

2007 FIELD TRIPS RECAP
Last year the club took a trip to Montana to look for Montana Moss, petrified wood and fossils. In July club members headed north to Thunder Bay for Amethyst and in August headed to Houghton Michigan for the Midwest Federation Show. In addition, there were day trips to Royalton to look for Staurolites and to the St. Paul Brickyards (Lilydale) to look for fossils. Tour Director Allan Kraft indicates that twelve club members made the Lilydale trip and were rewarded with many fine fossils!
